Colleagues. I have done some basic data collection cross-nationally on emotional intelligence using the MSCEIT online questionnaire. I now want to expand my work by linking EI to certain behavioral issues important to accountants. However, while I find MSCEIT to be effective and the quick scoring and relatively low price make it hard to beat, the time to complete is 25 to 45 minutes. Add on even a simple behavioral experiment, and we cross the one hour mark. Is anyone aware of a shorter measure of EI  that has been validated and accepted in a Major journal such as AMJ or JIBS?
