PAID Garden & Greenhouse Internships Available

The Garden Project, a program of the Greater Lansing Food Bank, is seeking 2-3 paid interns for the spring semester.
 
·        Propagation Intern(s)
Interns will be responsible for greenhouse production of vegetable transplants in the Garden Project’s south Lansing greenhouse. Training will be provided. Academic credits may be possible, depending on your program of study. A $500-$1500 stipend is included. Click this link for more information and application instructions.
 
Internship Dates: February 2019 – May 2019, exact dates negotiable
Hours per week: Minimum of 10 per intern, 20 preferred
Day & times required:  Both 8-5 business hours, and evening and weekend obligations, are to be expected
 
·        Garden Project Spring Intern
The intern will assist GP staff with educational and promotional outreach to the community, including working with volunteers, supporting workshops, trainings and resource allocation. Academic credits may be available, depending on your program of study. A $500 stipend is included. Click this link for more information and application instructions.
 
Internship dates: January 2019 – May 2019, exact dates negotiable
Hours per week: Approximately 10 hours per week, on average, for 2019 spring semester
Day & times required: Both 9-5 business hours, and evening and weekend obligations, are to be expected
