Summer 2019 Project Scientist/Environmental Engineer Internships Available: Kieser & Associates, LLC, an environmental engineering firm based in Kalamazoo, MI has openings for Summer 2019 technical internships. The firm will consider highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to assist with field work and technical tasks associated with biocontrols for aquatic invasive species, vegetation surveys, data compilation, statistical analyses, and research associated with watershed management, stormwater management & retrofit design, and/or environmental markets. Individuals who have experience with invertebrate and plant identification are highly favorable for one of the internships; the other internship will emphasize engineering applications in watershed hydrology. Individuals should minimally be nearing completion of a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Field Biology, Environmental Engineering/Water Resources or a related discipline. Graduate students pursuing advanced degrees will receive priority consideration. This is a 3-month contract/internship position (40 hours/week) with no benefits. Compensation will range from $12-$16/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for full-time positions are often extended to successful interns following completion of their degrees.
