WAIB 2019 ANNUAL AWARDS (3): ALL NOMINATIONS / APPLICATION DEADLINES = JANUARY 10, 2019

 

1. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: WAIB Emerging Scholar Award.

 

2. CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: WAIB Best Paper Award.

3. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: WAIB Woman of the Year Award.

 

WAIB’s Emerging Scholar Award recognizes a female AIB junior scholar who is a member of WAIB and nominated by a WAIB member. Applicants must be EITHER a current doctoral student OR have received the Ph.D. any time in 2013 or later.  Presence at the 2019 AIB Annual conference is not required for the award. Deadline for nominations: January 10, 2019. See Attachment 1 for full details.

 

WAIB’s Best Paper Award recognizes the paper that increases gender awareness in IB research.  Submissions must (1) be complete final papers not accepted for publication; (2) have been or will be presented at any annual AIB conference or regional AIB chapter conference between April 2018 - April 2019; (3) focus explicitly on women and/or gender; and (4) have at least one author who is a WAIB member. Deadline for submissions: January 10, 2019. See Attachment 2 for full details.

 

WAIB’s Woman of the Year Award goes to a female scholar for her service to WAIB or AIB or high-quality research in any IB discipline. Candidates must a WAIB member and nominated by another WAIB member. Deadline for nominations: January 10, 2019. See Attachment 3 for full details.
