EXTENDED DEADLINE 9 SEPTEMBER

Submissions are now open for the Annual AIB-Oceania Research Symposium and Professional Development Workshop, Melbourne Australia, 16-17 November.

Keynote speakers for 2018 are Professor Marjorie Lyles (Florida International University, JIBS Area Editor and AIB President Elect) and Professor Peter Liesch (University of Queensland, JIBS Area Editor).  A paper presentation or panel proposal for the Research Symposium requires only a 750 word abstract to be submitted, which will be reviewed by the AIB-Oceania Board.  The Professional Development Workshop this year will focus on: “What makes an excellent introduction?”   

 

Confirmed mentors at the Professional Development Workshop include Professor Marjorie Lyles (Florida International University), Professor Peter Liesch (University of Queensland), Professor Beth Rose (Leeds University), Professor Doug Dow (Melbourne Business School), Assoc. Prof Vikas Kumar (University of Sydney), Professor Gabriele Suder (University of Melbourne), Prof. Laszlo Tihanyi (Texas A&M), Dr Tom Osegowitsch (University of Melbourne) and  Professor Sara McGaughey (Griffith University)!

 

No registration fee is charged for AIB members (you must be a current member), and early career researchers and doctoral candidates are especially welcome.  Please see the above links or attached “Call for Submissions” for additional information.
