Dear RESER 2018 network colleagues,

[cid:[log in to unmask]]

This email is an update of the planning progress for RESER 2018 to be held in Gothenburg, as well as a reminder to register attendance at the conference.

The RESER 2018 organizing committee would like to inform that the planning of the conference is going well.

We have some distinguished keynote speakers to the conference this year from both the academic and industry circles, including:

  * Prof. Metke Stare from the University of Ljubljana, who has been in innovation and international services research for 25 years. This year, we celebrate Metke’s dedication to the field of services research with a lifetime achievement award
  * Prof. Andrew Jones from City, University of London, who is initiator of the study area of Services and the Green Economy
  * Dr. Dennis Nobelius, who is CEO of Zenuity, a Gothenburg based joint venture enterprise between Volvo Cars & Autoliv.
  * Dr. Anette Åquist Falkenroth, who is a MD and specialist in Psychiatry. Anette has worked as a manager in the healthcare sector for more than 15 years and will share her knowledge and experiences of services in the healthcare sector

More about this year’s keynote speakers can be found at https://reser2018.com/program/.

As registered participants, you can look forward to a Welcome Reception by the City of Gothenburg on the first evening of the conference, 20 Sep. We also have the conference dinner booked for the Friday (21 Sep) of the conference at 330 year old Skansen Kronan, a fortress situated on the hill Risåsberget in the gorgeously romantic Haga district. Skansen Kronan has a spectacular view over the city of Gothenburg (https://skansenkronan.se/), so bring out your cameras! We also have lined up an interesting social event for the Saturday of the conference, 22 Sep.

Registration is currently ongoing at the RESER 2018 website: https://reser2018.com/registration-hotel/registration/
You can also register onsite if you wish, at the conference venue, which is the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, Vasagatan 1 (view map: https://bit.ly/2PiPgf8).

This year’s conference looks set to be one that is cozy, with a well-focused network of individuals in research in services.
We look forward to meeting with you in person.

Greetings from Gothenburg!
Wishing you all a pleasant weekend upcoming!
Cheryl
