The Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral researcher to join an NSF-funded project focused on the use of learning progressions to inform secondary physics (and other science) teachers’ formative assessment practices. As the project is nearing its end, all data collection has been completed. Therefore, the postdoctoral researcher would have the opportunity to work closely with the PI (Associate Professor Alicia Alonzo) on both qualitative data analysis and project-related publications. The postdoctoral researcher does not need to relocate to East Lansing, MI. Because the 12-month position focuses on data analysis and writing, remote work is possible.
