Position Search Announcement Assistant Professor of Management Tenure Track Department of Business Administration Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics University of Delaware The Department of Business Administration of the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management starting September 1, 2019. Candidates must possess a PhD in Management or a closely related field, or anticipate completing their degree on or before September 1, 2019. The primary teaching responsibility is likely to be in organizational theory and/or organizational behavior topics at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Candidates will demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching and will be pursuing a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing their work in top management journals. Candidates who currently hold tenure-track appointments at the Assistant Professor level are especially encouraged to apply. Such candidates should have a record of publication in top management journals and evidence of highly effective teaching in both graduate and undergraduate courses. Salary, benefits, teaching load and research support are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Research and teaching support in the department is excellent, including a one-semester third-year research sabbatical, a large computerized behavioral lab and departmental subject pool, the availability of research and teaching assistants, access to databases (e.g., WRDS), and opportunities to apply for research grants. The management faculty have active research programs, regularly leading to publications in outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Business Ethics Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Management Studies.
