Localization of the SDGs: Accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda

There are 17 SDGs and 169 targets included in the 2030 sustainable development agenda. These were defined to have a universal coverage, with an emphasis in “ensuring no
one is left behind”. This means not only that inclusion, empowerment and non-discriminations are at the core of the agenda, but also underlining the national and sub-national contexts are different, and therefore localizing the SDGs is critical in the achievement
of the 2030 Agenda and a sustainable and inclusive territorial development.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
