Have you developed a learning game to help your students understand and apply business concepts in the real world?  Enter your game in the 3rd International Business Learning Games Competition from the Business Excellence Institute (www.businessexcellence.org).  The competition attracts entries of digital and non-digital business learning games from around the globe.  The competition’s finalists will be invited to demonstrate their learning innovations at the 3rd International Business Learning Games Competition’s Games Showcase on September 20th and 21st at the University of Lisbon in Portugal.  See http://businesslearninggames.com/ for the competition rules and the profiles of the judges. The entry deadline is May 31st, 2018.

Do you want to learn more about how to use learning games in your business classrooms?  Save the date for the 3rd International Conference on Business Learning Games.  The International Conference on Business Learning Games (ICOBLG) brings together multi-disciplinary experts in business, education, and learning games as well as learning game companies, training companies and HR professionals from organizations large and small in the public and private sector. The ICOBLG objective is to accelerate learning innovation and digitalization and, by doing so, improve business outcomes in an era of ongoing change. 

Last year, there were speakers from 3 continents and presentations focused on the psychology of designing learning games for business and how to promote their use in organizations. This year, workshops and presentations will focus on showing how games ignite passion in the classroom and workforce, turbo-charge learning, digital transformation and on personal and organizational development success stories success stories. Speakers for 2018 include:   Pere Juárez Vives, Innovation & Creativity Professor,  University of Barcelona;  Lars Hoffmann, Learning Architect, Henley Business School; and Paul O’Connor Principal at SCENARIO Serious Games. 

The ICOBLG is being held in the University of Lisbon, in Portugal, on September 20th and 21st. It runs in parallel to the International Business Learning Games Competition’s Games Showcase (see above).
