Attention all farmers who sell produce, flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables and handi-crafts!
This is a great market for quick sales. Its popular by the local employees ( it is right on the capitol lawn!), all the farmers often bring their families and groups from all over come specifically to “tour” and eat from this market. Rest
assured everyone plans on eating there and buying something for home too.

Farmers
Markets at the Capitol!
This year's Farmers Markets at the Capitol will take place on the East Lawn of the Michigan State Capitol on Thursday,
July 26, August 23, and September 20, 2018. Each year, the markets host about 75 vendors from across the state of Michigan to provide a thriving marketplace that showcases Michigan food and agricultural products in an effort to educate our state decision-makers
on the importance of supporting farmers, ag-based businesses, and farmers markets. Last year's markets brought in approximately 18,800 shoppers and over $225,000 in vendor sales to Michigan farmers and small business owners!
Vendor applications are open to MIFMA members at
mifma.org/fmatthecapitol.

portal!)
