The Hiawatha National Forest has a strong timber sale program.  We manage the full range of forest types growing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, using a variety of prescriptions and cruising techniques.  If you are interested in working in the woods, building skills in timber sale marking and cruising, and beginning a career with the US Forest Service, this may be the job for you!
