Whether you are a large or small farmer, home gardener or just getting interested, this workshop will help you improve your soil’s food web while improving the quality and yield of your farms and gardens. This is the first of a series of events being planned by the newly forming Michigan chapter of the Bionutrient Food Association.

Driving a distance? We want to make it easy for you! Accommodations are available from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Cost for these accommodations are as follows: Two nights and five meals. $130 (non-members); $120 (members of other co-ops) $110 (CPC members). Add $30 for single occupancy room. Student and low-income rates are available also. Lower rates for rustic cabins or camping. Children (4-12) are half price. Children under four are free.
Crop Services International was founded by Dr Phil Wheeler and Ron Ward over 40 years ago. In the process of educating and consulting with growers, they co-authored The Non-Toxic Farming Handbook. Dane Terrill and Nancy Essex purchased the business on their retirement, and they along with Joe Miazgowicz continue the founders’ concept of educating and consulting with growers of all sizes. As an international soil testing facility, clients come from all over the world and the variety of crops is endless including: row crops & pastures, orchards & vineyards, diversified vegetables, turf grass and cannabis. CSI uses the soil testing results (mineral and biological) as the basis to establish a complete soil health program, and tissue/sap analysis to monitor progress for plant health. These programs utilize growing practices consistent with sustainable eco-agriculture, specializing in transitioning "conventional" growers to more sustainable, biological, organic and/or energetic paradigms. These programs can be scaled to fit any size operations from backyard gardens to thousand acre farms and ranches.
