Workshop on Modern India: Interdisciplinary Perspectives, Themes, and Implications for Teaching and Learning

The program is supported by the University of South Carolina CIBER, along with partners Georgia Institute of Technology and Duke University, to provide opportunities for faculty development to previously underrepresented institutions and faculty from Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) and Community Colleges (CC): https://goo.gl/SBpQXC.

 

The one-day workshop explores key issues and emerging trends in modern India; it is anchored around the themes of history, culture, politics, resources, infrastructure, challenges, and multi-media resources. Participants will be able to leverage knowledge gained to improve the curriculum and incorporate more cutting-edge information on India into various general education, business, and other courses.
