The article reviews state-of-art conceptualizations of culture and provides a focused summary of the most recent research on managing cross-cultural interaction. It is our hope that it will support the broad range of scholarship now being conducted in the field, including the work that many are doing that is integrating what has too often been labelled as “international research” into the overall conceptualizations in the field.
