45th AIB (UK&I) Conference 2018 - International Business Strategies in a Changing
Commercial and Political Landscape
12 - 14 April, 2018 Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham
Deadline for paper submissions: 26 January

Where are we now? This is the question that academics and practitioners
are presently asking themselves as the contemporary world appears to be a confusing picture, for both multinational corporations (MNCs) and their managers - not only due to a highly competitive economic environment, but also due to an uncertain and turbulent
political environment.
With the developed West witnessing signs
of fragmentation; as the United Kingdom prepares to leave the European Union; as the United States of America begins to forge a new place for itself in the world, and as South Korea and Hong Kong face political turbulence caused by forces that appear to be
beyond their control; the environments MNCs presently inhabit pose a number of significant challenges.
Therefore, if you are interested in starting
to figure out where international business is now and where it is heading, then we warmly invite you to join us at the 45th AIB-UK&I conference held at The Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham (UK) from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th April
2018.
The UK & Ireland Chapter (UK&I) of the Academy
of International Business (AIB) is the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business in the UK and Ireland.
