Oliver Chair at the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in Mountain View, California. Dr. Tarter's work has brought her wide recognition in the scientific community, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from Women in Aerospace and two Public Service Medals from NASA.
