Tenure track position in Marketing at the University of Vaasa, Finland

The School of Marketing and Communication, subject of Marketing

The research activities of this tenure track position focus on energy markets in emerging economies with the particular focus on renewable and sustainable energy business. The mission is to create new knowledge on marketing in businesses related to sustainable energy and the success factors in emerging markets and various types of energy business ecosystems.

Expected areas of expertise and interest can include but are not limited to:

• Sustainable energy business dynamics and opportunities in emerging markets
• Innovation ecosystems and technology transfer processes
• User innovations and marketing concepts in emerging markets
• Marketing concepts for sustainable energy business
• Co-creation of value with consumers and product/service users
• Marketing concepts and business models for circular economy

All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and demonstrated potential for conducting outstanding research. We are particularly interested in applicants with interdisciplinary interests and strong records of, or potential for, excellence in teaching.

Although the position is envisioned as appropriate for advanced Assistant or Associate Professor candidates, applications for full Professor will be considered.
