Job Summary:
Indiana University – Bloomington. The Department of Geography invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Critical Food Studies and Environmental Change to begin on January 1, 2018. The position is for one semester with the potential for renewal for the 2018-2019 academic year. Candidates must have a Ph.D., teaching experience, and research and teaching interests that complement current strengths of the department. The appointee will be expected to teach introductory and advanced courses in environmental change, GIS, and food and agriculture. Specific teaching duties will be arranged based on candidate background and experience. Instructional responsibilities will be three courses per semester. Applicants should have or expect to receive the doctoral degree by December 2017. The position will remain open until filled.
