Description:
IISG is seeking experienced program manager to serve as Assistant Director of Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG).  The primary responsibility of this position will be managing the day-to-day operations of IISG. This includes fiscal oversight, personnel management, and reporting.

This individual will work with the IISG Director and staff to coordinate all aspects of the IISG program, including extension, research communication, and education activities.  Duties will include assisting with planning, management and administration of the program, as well as providing strategic leadership, contributing to programmatic development, and providing programmatic enhancements based on expertise and interests.

Qualifications:
Master's degree (PhD preferred) in a natural science, planning, social science or related field relevant to Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant.
Four or more years' experience in program management, including experience in project planning, grant writing, and strategic planning.
