Lecturer in International Business (Grade 8)

The Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) group within ULMS is seeking to appoint An individual who will help to grow the thriving international business research agenda, covering issues in the areas of international business and international management. Some members in the group focus on topics such as institutional environment, micro and macro level determinants of (E)MNE performance, and global leadership. Others favour studies at the interfaces with Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship and look at issues like geographies of innovation and entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and global governance.

You will possess a relevant PhD (or be about to obtain), in the area of International Business. You will possess a track record of publications in world-leading or internationally excellent journals in the field, such as Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of World Business. You will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain and extend the existing high level of output. You will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record commensurate with the post as they will teach in the undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of the student experience and for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
