Description The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate position in strategic management to begin fall 2018. Individuals with secondary expertise in international management are especially encouraged to apply, as well as those with interests spanning other areas in the department (e.g., information systems, leadership, and organizational behavior). Candidates at the senior assistant/associate professor level are expected to have a record of scholarly accomplishment that includes publications in the leading strategy journals and demonstrated teaching excellence at the MBA and undergraduate levels. At the assistant professor level, candidates are expected to demonstrate potential for research and teaching excellence. The position requires an earned doctorate in a relevant management discipline before the initial appointment. Preferred qualifications include experience with the case teaching method and relevant industry experience.
