The Department of International Economics and Management (INT) at CBS invites expressions of interest for one full-time tenure-track assistant professorship in International Business, starting in September
2018.
Candidates should hold, or be close to completing, a PhD from an accredited institution. They should be able to demonstrate a potential strong research record in the area of International Business and excellent
methodological skills. Participation in teaching in existing CBS programs and an interest in developing research-based teaching courses is expected.
INT has a long tradition of academic accomplishment in the field of International Business. Core research areas investigated at the department include management of MNCs and headquarters-subsidiary relationships,
strategic responsiveness and effective strategy-making in MNCs, knowledge, R&D, and innovation strategies of MNCs, the role of institutions in international business, multinational risk management. Furthermore, research in International Business at INT strongly
benefits from work on Area Studies and Corporate Governance conducted at the department. This leads to the investigation of themes like international corporate governance, strategies of state-owned enterprises, and internationalization of emerging market firms.
INT has a vibrant, international, and open research environment. Permanent Faculty includes 15 professors, 15 associate professors, 7 assistant professors and 9 PhD students and post docs. The department has well-
established contacts with the international community of academic peers as well as to the Danish business community including some of the major multinational firms. INT has a unique collaboration with executive and board members of the largest Danish MNCs
via an MBA program in Board Education.
