Hi all,

Food First's Food Sovereignty Tours guide travelers with an interest in alternative food movements to international destinations to explore other food systems and their fight for food sovereignty. Our most recent Food Sovereignty Tour to Cuba just returned. One stop along their journey was a visit to La Coincidencia, a permaculture farm in Matanzas, Cuba. At the farm, the group learned about the agricultural and spiritual importance of soil. Food First Fellow Leonor Hurtado further describes their experience in a blog post, shared on our website.  Click here to read more!

Upset you missed it? No worries, we have another delegation going out this November. Find out more information here: https://foodfirst.org/cubafst/

In solidarity,
Marina Vergara
