EDIBLE FLINT’S 9TH ANNUAL FOOD GARDEN TOUR

Come celebrate Flint’s food gardens, hoop houses and farms at edible flints’ 9th Annual Food Garden Tour. This event serves as the day edible flint features local gardeners, explores different gardening techniques and highlights the beauty of growing local food in Flint, while supporting access to healthy food, self-reliance and community. 

The event kicks off with Pre-Tour Community Partner Exhibits featuring nutrition partners, local farmers, and local organizations dedicated to healthy food and gardening in Flint and Genesee County. After the tour, participants return to the Flint Farmers’ Market for great food, great fun and connecting with others who share the passion for food gardening. 

This edible flint event will be held on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at The Flint Farmers’ Market from 3pm-8pm. The 9th Annual Food Garden Tour offers several tour opportunities - select 1 of 2 bus routes or cruise local gardens by bike. Registration is open and the donation is $10.00.
