The Department of Management in the College of Business at the University
of Arkansas at Little Rock (http://ualr.edu/cob) invites applications for a
tenure-track position in Management anticipated for fall semester 2018.


Ph.D. or D.B.A. with a concentration in business strategy from an
AACSB-accredited institution is required.  The successful candidate will
demonstrate (1) the ability to provide instructional excellence in
undergraduate/graduate courses in areas of specialization; (2) a planned
scholarly agenda consistent with expectations of an AACSB-accredited
program; and (3) research/external service potential.  Corporate/business
work experience desirable.  ABD’s may be considered.


The Management Department currently has 9 full-time faculty members.  The
department supports three undergraduate concentrations—human resource
management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and management—and an MBA
program.

The College of Business houses two economic development outreach units
well-respected in the region–the Institute for Economic Advancement (IEA)
and the state’s lead center for the Small Business and Technology
Development Center (ASBTDC), one of only 10 so certified in the country.
Faculty members are invited to work collaboratively with these centers in
achieving the economic development mission of the College.


The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is a metropolitan university with

capital with moderately priced housing and abundant entertainment,
