Dear Colleagues, Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant Professorship in Corporate Governance at The Center for Corporate Governance (CCG), which is a part the Department of International Economics and Management (INT). Core research areas of the Department of International Economics and Management are 1) International Business, 2) Emerging Markets, 3) Asia Studies, and 4) Corporate Governance. It is the ambition of the Department to be in the international frontline in these research areas; to publish our research results in leading international journals; to have an excellent research environment; to seek synergy between research and teaching, and to have a strong partnership with the business community. Examples of research areas that the associate professor might cover: • Nordic corporate governance • Ownership models and in particular long-term ownership • How Nordic firms are financed and the role of the financial sector (banks in particular) • The Nordic asset management industry specifically and the role of financial advisors in general CCG is an interdisciplinary research center with a strong track record in corporate governance and in international business. It is essential that the candidate is able to provide a significant contribution to the distinct research profile. The successful applicant must therefore connect to the research taking place at both at the CCG and the department. The Associate Professorship is a non-tenured two years position with research and teaching obligations, starting January 1, 2018.
