Vets in Ag Network is working directly with USDA to aid our veterans in registering for USDA programs through a series of webinars where we simplify the process and give you the tools and information you need to take advantage of USDA programs. 

This webinar will cover the first 4 forms which must be completed to register your farm for a Farm Service Agency farm number.

Veterans Product Guide

MIFFS is creating Michigan's first Veteran Product Guide for those interested in supporting veteran owned farms. We will be collecting farm profiles until September 2018, allowing for the guide to be printed in early 2019.

Join us as we learn from compost maven Amy Freeman on Sunday, May 7th from 1 pm- 4 pm at the Women In Agriculture Farm. At this hands-on, practical introduction to composting we will build a compost pile from locally-available ingredients.

It is a crucial time to stay engaged to ensure that critical funding is available for beginning and underserved farmers. Late fees will not be assessed until after this extended deadline. Any licensing questions can be directed to our call center at 800-292-3939.
