The Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of South Carolina, in partnership with Duke University, announce the Workshop for International Internship and Work Abroad Programs (WIIWAP). In the course of this full-day program, experts will provide detailed information on establishing, expanding and maintaining programs to allow undergraduate and graduate students to gain international work experience.  Among the topics scheduled to be addressed are:

•            Creating a Work Abroad/International Internship Program within a budget

•            Keeping Work Abroad/International Internship positions current and relevant to student needs

•            Legal considerations of Work Abroad/International Internship programs

•            Leveraging existing organizations and programs

This program is offered free-of-charge on a space-available basis.  Primary preference is given to faculty and staff from HBCUs, minority-serving institutions, community colleges and technical colleges.
