Ideal candidates must have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting. A college degree in agriculture or natural resources is strongly preferred. However, extensive experience in a similar position, a position with business management, or non-profit administration experience will be considered. Other highly desired skills include project management, grant writing, natural resource management, agricultural experience, office management/supervisory experience, and some accounting experience. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a federal background check.
