March 13-17, 2017
McBride Center for International Business

Baylor University

Waco, Texas

March 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, which established the European Economic Community and launched an era of cooperation on that continent. However, the end of March is also the target date for negotiations to commence on British withdrawal from the EU, and the Dutch election on March 15 will be followed in short order with elections in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and possibly Italy. In the wake of crises related to financial instability and immigration, the European Union is playing a vitally important role in the global economic and security systems, but its future has never been more in question.

You are cordially invited to attend our 11th annual Global Business Forum, focusing this year on prospects for “The Future of Europe.” Participation is free.  Our program is presented this year in cooperation with the World Affairs Council of Dallas and Fort Worth.

For updates, see: http://www.baylor.edu/globalbusiness

Attendance at all sessions is complimentary, but seating is limited, and free registration is necessary for the meals.

We will hope to see you at the Forum on Europe!
