Dear Colleague,

The University of Colorado Denver (UCD) Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) is joining the Georgia State University CIBER in inviting you to participate in the June 1-4, 2017 International Business Pedagogy Workshops to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. Detailed information about these workshops can be found at http://ciber.robinson.gsu.edu/msi-consortium/fdib/.

UCD CIBER is co-hosting the thematic workshop International Entrepreneurship (IE), one of five concurrent thematic workshops that participants will choose to attend during the June 1-4 program. Participants in the IE thematic workshop will learn to teach IE, how to incorporate entrepreneurship into their international business (IB) course, how to internationalize their entrepreneurship course, and will receive resources for teaching and research. Faculty facilitators include Patricia McDougall-Covin, William L. Haeberle Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director of the Institute for International Business at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business; and Manuel Serapio, CIBER Faculty Director and Associate Professor of International Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Denver.

UCD CIBER is offering five $400 scholarships to applicants who register for the June 1-4 program and select to attend the IE workshop. (Registrants who are awarded a $400 faculty fellowship from Georgia State CIBER are not eligible for a UCD CIBER scholarship.) Please register for the June 1-4 program at the website noted below, indicate your participation in the IE workshop, and send an email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to apply for the scholarship. Scholarships will be processed as reimbursements at the conclusion of the workshop.

The June 1-4 early bird program fee is $699 for those who register by April 30. This fee includes plenary workshops, thematic workshops, and bonus workshops as well as a Thursday evening reception, daily lunch and refreshments breaks, and workshop course packs. The program fee does not include costs for lodging, some meals, and travel.

We believe that the International Entrepreneurship Workshop as well as the June 1-4 program will provide considerable information to assist faculty in their practical knowledge and skills for teaching international business as well as opportunities to network with faculty with similar interests. We hope that you will participate.

Sincerely,

The University of Colorado Denver CIBER
                Manuel Serapio, CIBER Director
                Jana Blakestad, CIBER Assistant Director
                Melanie Ellison, CIBER Program Assistant
