The 2017 NAGT James H. Shea Award committee needs your help. Please consider nominating a deserving individual for this important award. In essence, the Shea Award honors individuals (or groups) “for exceptional contributions in the form of writing and/or editing of Earth science materials (broadly construed) that are of interest to the general public and/or teachers of Earth science”. If you’re not familiar with the Shea Award, please take a moment to look at the website and note what it represents (and see the impressive list of past recipients). The nomination process is simple and easy, and nominees will be considered for three years. You do not need to be a NAGT member to submit a nomination!
