Dear Colleagues,

Nancy J. Adler and myself are currently working on a literature review of cross-cultural management theory and research.

Our focus is specifically on the management of “cross-cultural interactions / interfaces”; i.e., what happens when individuals from different cultures come into contact to work together: the processes, outcomes, facilitators of and barriers to effective functioning, contingencies under which effectiveness is enhanced, and so on.

Could you please send us empirical research papers, review articles or theory papers of yours or colleagues dealing with the management of cross-cultural interactions/interfaces in the contexts, such as (but not limited to) teamwork (i.e., multicultural teams), negotiation (i.e., intercultural negotiations), expat-local interaction, mergers & acquisitions. Any relevant pieces from the “(cross-cultural) diversity management” literature are welcome.

Thanks and best regards,

Zeynep & Nancy
