The Austin Ecological Services Field Office in Austin, Texas currently has an opening for a Senior Fish and Wildlife Biologist position (GS-12/13).  The position serves as the Texas Transportation Liaison for transportation projects in Texas and liaison to Texas Department of Transportation and Federal Highways Administration.

The position is located in the Austin Ecological Services Field Office in Austin, Texas.  https://www.fws.gov/southwest/es/austintexas/  The office has lead for over 50 listed species and has over 80 listed and candidate species in its area of responsibility.  The Texas Transportation Liaison also works with the Texas Coastal and Arlington Ecological Services Field Offices.
