There is additional information from MSU on the home page.

There is another page that has more information about the breach and how to setup credit/identity theft monitoring.

https://www.msu.edu/datasecurity or toll free at 1-855-231-9331

The site for monitoring is https://msu.allclearid.com/. They have staff that can help if you have identify or credit related problems that arise this weekend and the credit monitoring/identity theft protection will be available on Nov 22, 2016.

We should make sure that our IT, HR and administrative personnel understand where to reference students and staff if they receive calls.

I expect that we will get additional details from MSU IT and a better understanding on any items we should be focusing on related to business unit systems. From the information at hand, it appears to be related to central system(s).

Thanks,

When will details be provided to MSU IT sys admins?  What?  How?  Anything we should be aware of or look for in our own systems?

Thanks,
