Greetings, and apologies for any cross postings!

The Greater Lansing Food Bank is seeking a Plant Propagation Intern for spring semester to produce vegetable seedlings in a greenhouse for the Garden Project<http://greaterlansingfoodbank.org/programs/programs-home/the-garden-project/> and Lansing Roots<http://greaterlansingfoodbank.org/programs/programs-home/lansing-roots/> programs.  Responsibilities include:


*         Seed selection and starting, watering, nutrient management, and ongoing plant maintenance

*         Management of greenhouse space (learn climate control mechanisms, organize and clean greenhouse materials)

*         Self-motivation will increase possibilities of service scope and may include conducting seed starting workshops, and creating educational materials

10 hours per week minimum, 15-20 preferred.  Includes a stipend ranging from $500-1500 depending on availability and experience.
