The department of management in the College of Business and Public Management at West Chester University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in strategic management / international business at the assistant/associate professor level. The position begins with the fall (August) 2017 semester. Responsibilities include teaching the strategic, general, and international management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising students, conducting research, and participating in academic and professional activities. Teaching assignments will include opportunities for teaching at off-campus sites and/or through distance learning. Position requires a Ph.D. or D.B.A or candidacy for the Ph.D. or D.B.A in Business Administration with a strategy or international business concentration from an AACSB-accredited school. Teaching experience in a business school at the undergraduate level is required, as well as a proven research record or demonstrated research capability. Additional industry experience in the coursework to be taught is preferred. Applicants must successfully complete the interview process including a teaching demonstration to be considered as a finalist. Finalists must be A.B.D., or have received their Ph.D. within the last three years, or have a Ph.D. and scholarship that fulfills West Chester University's Scholarly Academic requirements.
