it is our pleasure to inform you that applications are now open for the Spring 2017 Session of the Henley International Business Masterclasses. This session will consist of set of three masterclasses and these will run between 27 March 2017 and 5 April 2017 as specified below.

The masterclasses are offered to
PhD students, post-doctoral and early career researchers. Besides offering
world-class training on conceptual issues and current debates in a particular
aspect of IB, they provide networking opportunities and allow developing global
partnerships.
The number of participants is
strictly limited to 30 students per masterclass.
Participants can either attend
as formally enrolled students or as non-enrolled attendees.
The first option will provide formal recognition in the form
of credits. Participants will be awarded 10 credits per module, an
equivalent of 5 ECTS credits, upon the positive evaluation of coursework
and payment of a tuition fee (£230 for Home/EU students and £460 for
Overseas students per module). The second option is free of tuition
charges and will be non-credit bearing (participants will only
receive a certificate of attendance).
A limited number of very
competitive scholarships is generously offered from the Alan Rugman Memorial
Fund.

Finally, let us draw draw your
attention on the fact that this year the Spring IB Masterclasses will precede
the Reading IB Conference joint with AIB UK&I 2017, which will take place
in Reading on 6-8 April 2017. The theme of the Conference is "Contemporary Issues in International
Business: Are we seeing the tail-end of globalization?".
Confirmed speakers in open-ended debates and interactive plenary sessions include:
Snehal Awate (IBS), Sjoerd Beugelsdijk (Groningen), Italo Colantone (Bocconi),
Jonathan Doh (Villanova), Fabienne Fortanier (OECD), Elisa Giuliani (Pisa),
Dana Minbaeva (CBS).
Submissions of papers are welcome
in all areas of International Business. Deadline for submission for Main
Conference is 9 December 2016
