The Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy is repeating its highly successful Doctoral Student Colloquium as part of its annual ANZIBA conference (www.anziba.org).
The 2017 Doctoral Student Colloquium will be held just prior to the start of the ANZIBA Annual Conference, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Flinders Victoria Square Presence, 182 Victoria Square Adelaide South Australia.
The daylong ANZIBA Doctoral Student Colloquium is an intensive workshop intended for research students who are working on theses in the broad area of International Business. The purpose of the colloquium is to assist students explore the processes of conducting research and writing, and the art of navigating the world of academic publishing with the support of experienced scholars. The colloquium also provides an opportunity for doctoral students to discuss their research ideas, learn about international business research more broadly and get insights on how to develop a successful academic career.
For the 2017 ANZIBA Doctoral Student Colloquium, we have a distinguished panel of IB scholars lined up to share their experiences and insights with doctoral students. We are particularly delighted to announce the participation of three eminent IB Scholars, Patricia McDougall-Covin, Indiana University, Peter Buckley, Leeds University, and Tamer Cavusgil, Georgia State University, at the 2017 Doctoral Colloquium.
Participation in the ANZIBA Doctoral Student Colloquium is limited; interested students should apply by submitting the following:
A statement of interest
A research proposal or work-in-progress statement of no more than 10 pages (double-spaced, A4 paper), including title, background, research question and proposed methodology
A current curriculum vitae (2 pages maximum)
A recommendation from the current or potential research supervisor.
Submission deadline
The submission deadline for the 2017 ANZIBA
Doctoral Student Colloquium
is Friday
November 18, 2016. Earlier submissions will be appreciated, and acceptance made on a rolling basis.
