AIB proudly announces the establishment of a new award. Beginning in 2017, AIB has partnered with Florida International University (FIU) to establish the Florida International University/AIB Best Theory Paper Award. This award will be presented annually at the AIB Annual Meeting to recognize a paper with superior theory development. A generous endowment from Florida International University will provide funding support for the award.

All papers accepted for competitive sessions at the annual conference that meet the selection criteria are eligible for the award. One finalist from each track will be nominated by the track chairs based on reviewer input and their own assessments. An independent award committee will evaluate the nominees. The author(s) of the winning manuscript will receive both a commemorative and a monetary award.
