Lansing Roots Incubator Farm Information and Recruitment Sessions

Do you have farming experience or strong gardening background? Are you interested in growing for market and starting your own business? Do you have the time and energy to be a farmer, but lack the resources? Lansing Roots helps beginning farmers from the Greater Lansing area develop successful market gardening and farming enterprises through an incubator farm setting. 2017 Garden Leader's Training

All are welcome; both those starting new gardens, and also those looking to take on a leadership role at an existing garden and provide a lending hand. The 2017 series will take place over 3 Saturday mornings, 9:00am - 12:30pm at the Foster Community Center in Lansing. Check out further information here. GP Internship Applications Still Being Accepted

The Garden Project Intern position is still open. We will continue to accept applications until it is filled!


The Garden Project Intern will work directly with GP staff on a variety of tasks. These may include assisting with educational and promotional efforts, working at the Resource Center and/or Demonstration Garden, supporting gardeners and volunteers, and handling garden site preparations.
