USDA Official to Visit Michigan Farm to Discuss Farm Bill Program Assistance to Family Farms
(EAST LANSING, Mich.) - Oct. 5, 2016 - USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) Administrator Val Dolcini is scheduled to tour Almar Orchard in Flushing to discuss how FSA Programs, such as Farm Storage Facility Loans and Emergency Loans, impact farm success. Almar Orchard is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated farm that demonstrates how Michigan farms are able to endure natural disasters and thrive with the assistance of Farm Bill safety-net programs.
