Creativity is one of the most transferable skills we can engage students in and equip students with. Creative thinking and processes spans disciplines, institutions, and professions. Creativity fuels entrepreneurial thinking, which isn't just restricted to
business applications! All organizations need entrepreneurial and intrepreneurial thinkers and doers.
In this fun and relaxed session, we'll first discuss the new, interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Undergraduate Minor at MSU. Then, participants will engage in a range of activities
designed to get them reflecting on their own creative potential in the classroom and exploring ways for fostering creativity in their students. The session will cover definitions of creativity, strategies for shaping creative contexts, ideas for engaging students
more effectively, and exploring specific teacherly tools for crafting creative assignments and sparking student creativity. Models, examples, and cases of creativity in action specifically in the context of entrepreneurial thinking and acting will be shared.
The workshop will be hands-on, interactive, and designed to help participants create and share strategies. Participants will leave with a set of resources to implement in their assignments, activities, and classes.
