UPDATE: content analysis for 1,900+ investment agreements available

Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to inform you about the update of UNCTAD’s
IIA Mapping Project database. The database now covers an additional 500 treaties.

The IIA Mapping Project database provides a detailed analysis of over 1,900 investment agreements based on 100 options for treaty design. It offers a tool for policymakers and researchers to analyse trends in the drafting of investment treaties.

The IIA Mapping Project database allows you to:

·
Browse through the mapped content of over 1,900 investment treaties.
·
Select treaties based on elements of your interest (e.g. qualifiers for FET, the scope of the expropriation clause or ISDS).
·
Further specify your search based on the country, type of agreement, status and year.
·
View the complete mapping for any specific treaty of your interest.

The IIA Mapping Project is a collaborative initiative between UNCTAD and
universities worldwide to map the content of IIAs (read more).

We thank our academic partners at more than 40 universities around the globe for their time and efforts in support of UNCTAD's IIA Mapping Project.

With best regards,
