The Georgia Tech Center for International Business Education and Research is pleased to announce the 2017 Faculty Development in International Business in Japan. The theme of this program is "Merging old and new for a sustainable future." Japan is the world's third largest economy, and source of many innovations and brands we know and use every day. Japan is reinventing itself, taking the best from the past, and applying it to modern tasks and problems to come up with the best solutions.

Proposed Itinerary:
May 18-19 - Orientation in Atlanta (optional - no additional program fees, discounted accommodation will be made available)
May 20 - Arrive in Japan
May 20-June 1 - Tokyo, Tohoku, Kyoto, and Kansai!
June 2 - Return home
What is included:

Cost:
Deposit: $500  -  A deposit payment guarantees a space and program fees that will not rise above $4000 (shared accommodation, deposit applied toward program fee)
Expected Price: $4500 per academic participant
*Single Accommodation Supplement Available.  Limited spousal program also available.
Discounts available for faculty from minority-serving institutions, technical and community colleges.

James Hoadley serves as the Associate Director of the Georgia Tech Center for International Business Education and Research. James has previously worked in Japan for over eight years and has a network of contacts in both industry and academia.
