Position: Tenure Track Faculty in International Business

Institution: Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University

Location: Columbus, Ohio



Management and Human Resources, Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, is seeking applicants for a faculty appointment in International Business. This will be a full-time, tenure track appointment, to begin fall semester 2017. Research, teaching, and service responsibilities required. Competitive salary and teaching load with other major research institutions.



Applicants with a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in hand are preferred. Rank is open, although we have a preference for an Assistant Professor (either a fresh PhD or one with experience). A publication record commensurate with experience is an important hiring criterion. A continuing commitment to enhance our world class International Business group implies that applicants will need to be able to apply the most up-to-date theories and methods to address critical research questions in their chosen field, with an eye towards publishing this work in the most respected research journals in International Business and related disciplines. In terms of teaching, a world class International Business group implies that faculty will be skilled at translating their own research and the research of their colleagues to the classroom setting. The Fisher College is committed to building these teaching skills in its newly hired faculty. The Fisher College is not currently committed to any particular area of research, theory, or methodological approach but open to applications from any scholar asking research questions that are at the core of the field.
