Seeking a PhD or MS student interested in studying the functional dynamics of grazed grassland. objective of this funded study is to understand the direct and indirect effects of grazing ungulates on grassland plant and soil processes. Students with interests or experience in plant-soil relations, grassland functional ecology, or biogeochemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will join a diverse plant ecology and evolution group at Syracuse University and a larger ecological community that includes SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
