The Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship Department at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, seeks candidates to fill two full-time, tenure-track positions, starting in Fall, 2017. .. For one position, we seek a candidate whose research draws on economic-based perspectives to strategic management topics, and .. For the other position, we seek a candidate whose research interests are in the area of innovation, technology management or entrepreneurship. We welcome applications from candidates with international interests in the above areas of study. Appointments are sought at the Assistant or the Associate Professor level (which could be tenured or untenured). Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must be ABD or have completed a doctorate and must demonstrate a strong commitment to high quality research and teaching. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have a demonstrated track record of successful research, teaching, and service. Faculty in the Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship Department include *Mary Benner, Sunasir Dutta, Dan Forbes, Russell Funk, Aseem Kaul, Jiao Luo, Ian Maitland, Alfred Marcus, Harry Sapienza, Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh, Myles Shaver, Paul Vaaler, Joel Waldfogel, Alex Wilson, Aks Zaheer, Sri Zaheer, and Shaker Zahra*. The department features a vibrant doctoral program and inter-disciplinary faculty engaged in research using many different approaches with a keen focus on quality scholarship. Several department members are active as editors or on the editorial boards of major journals.
