Dear colleague The organising committee of the upcoming Annual Conference of the Euro-Asia Management Studies Association (EAMSA) has received some enquiries from AIB list members about the programme of activities we are planning for the conference from the 26th to the 30th October, 2016. If you are thinking about attending, and would like to know more about the schedule in order to make your travel arrangements to and from Suzhou, China, the provisional programme is as follows: Wednesday 26th October: Pre-conference welcome reception in the evening; Thursday 27th October: opening presentations, keynote speeches and parallel sessions in the morning, followed by a company visit in the afternoon; Friday 28th October: parallel sessions and special sessions (including the SIEM session on Management Geography) in the morning, a cultural visit to a UNESCO World Heritage Garden and the city sites of Suzhou in the afternoon, followed by the gala dinner; Saturday 29th October: parallel sessions in the morning, followed by the EAMSA general assembly and closing remarks, with the conference ending in the early afternoon; Sunday 30th October: optional guided sight-seeing trip to Shanghai (including People¡¯s Square, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Pudong and Shanghai Tower, the world¡¯s second tallest building).
